# iotPush > iotPush (https://www.iotpush.com) is a notification API for IoT devices, scripts and AI agents: one HTTP request sends a push notification (plus email and webhook delivery) to every subscriber of a topic. Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, servers — if it can curl, it can push. Notifications can carry action buttons, so an agent can ask a human and wait for the answer. iotPush is a product of DaSecure Solutions LLC (https://dasecure.com). ## Key facts - Send endpoint: `POST https://www.iotpush.com/api/push/{topic}` — plain-text or JSON body. - No SDK required: any device or language that can make an HTTP request works (curl, Python, Node.js, n8n, Home Assistant, ...). - Use the full `https://www.iotpush.com/...` URL. `http://` redirects, and curl drops the POST body on a redirect. - Private topics require `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOPIC_API_KEY`. - JSON fields: `message` (required for a readable notification; a JSON body without it is delivered as raw JSON text), `title`, `priority` (low · normal · high · urgent), `tags`, `click_url`, `actions`, `callback_url`. - Header shortcuts for plain-text sends: `Title`, `Priority`, `Tags`, `Click`. - Every send returns a `receipt_id` for tracking delivery, read and action status. - Pushover message format: `POST https://www.iotpush.com/api/1/messages.json` accepts Pushover's `token`/`user`/`message` fields (`token` = topic API key, `user` = topic name). It works wherever you can set the API URL yourself (scripts, libraries). Apps that hard-code api.pushover.net cannot be pointed at it; use their webhook or script option instead. - Subscribers receive pushes in the iotPush app for iOS and Android, by email, or as a webhook. - Plans: Free ($0 — 1 topic, 100 pushes/month, 20 approvals/month), Solo ($12/mo — 10 topics, 5,000 pushes/month, unlimited approvals), Team ($49/mo — unlimited topics, 25,000 pushes/month, 5 seats, delegation, N-of-M quorum approvals). No card needed for Free. ## Quick start ``` # Send a plain-text push curl -d "Hello from my Pi!" https://www.iotpush.com/api/push/my-topic ``` ``` # With title and priority curl -H "Title: Alert" -H "Priority: high" \ -d "Temperature exceeded 80°C" \ https://www.iotpush.com/api/push/my-topic ``` ``` # JSON body curl -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"title":"Alert","message":"Temp high!","priority":"high"}' \ https://www.iotpush.com/api/push/my-topic ``` ## Docs - [API documentation](https://www.iotpush.com/docs): Quick start, sending notifications, troubleshooting "Redirecting...", action buttons, delivery receipts, webhooks, devices, Topics API, Connect with ZapQR, Pushover compatibility. - [MCP server](https://www.iotpush.com/docs/mcp): Connect Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client at https://mcp.iotpush.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP).
